“The necessary condition for any successful treatment is to meet each individual patient in their individual experience of illness”

—John Hamwee

Acupuncture is an energetic medicine with a powerful cumulative impact — a consistent approach is key. As such, treatments are typically booked as a six-session programme. Treatments are hosted at select residences in London and at home in Surrey, with prices for the latter, listed below.

1

Acupuncture

Mind + Body

An initial session begins with an in-depth TCM consultation to carefully identify the key areas for which you seek treatment. We will explore the immediate causative factors as well as the broader landscape that enables imbalances to persist. A custom acupuncture treatment follows, with the addition of other healing modalities; cupping, moxibustion and tui na, tailored to your needs and strengthened by weekly follow-ups. With all the comforts of a spa experience; a safe, warm, and calm environment welcomes you.

Initial Consultation + Treatment
£120 (90min)

Follow-up Treatment
£80 (60min)

6x Treatment Programme
£460 (1x 90min, 5x 60min)

Facial Acupuncture

Skin, Mind + Body

With a skin-positive approach to energising, lifting, and restoring the skin’s innate radiance, techniques include scalp and ear acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na facial massage to promote microcirculation and disperse areas of stagnation. Internal imbalances and emotional disharmonies are also addressed with points selected on the body, tailored to your individual needs. According to the law of yin and yang, both the grass and the soil must be tended to, for the flower to bloom. Skin immediately glows, eyes are brightened, and the spirit is lifted. A former beauty director, Joanna is also able to advise on the appropriate formulas and ingredients to tend to the skin beyond treatment.

Initial Consultation + Treatment
£130 (90min)

Follow-up Treatment
£90 (75min)

6x Treatment Programme
£480 (1x 90min, 5x 60min)

Patient Safety

At each touchpoint of care, patient safety and wellbeing are paramount. Chinese Medicine is a person-centred and values-based practice, and as such, agency over treatment is crucial. Patients are — without exception — treated with unconditional positive regard. They are consulted prior to and during treatment, which will only proceed with their full consent. Unsolicited advice pertaining to patients’ Western medical treatment is never given.

Treatments will be administered in a safe, comfortable environment in accordance with industry standards. In the event of a medical red flag treatment will be halted and referrals made at the discretion of the practitioner. Patients are treated with single-use disposable needles, which are then disposed of according to current legislation.

Covid Protocol

Patient-practitioner safety is observed at all times and reviewed quarterly. Covid-safe measures remain in place, as issued by the British Acupuncture Council. Any patients experiencing Covid symptoms are required to inform the practitioner at their earliest opportunity prior to their arrival.
